With over twenty years of experience in emergency management, including operational experience and as a speaker, consultant and teacher – Wendy has received multiple awards for training and exercise delivery for corporate, government and non-profit organizations.
Wendy has improved communications and transparency at several organizations by garnering support for and implementing newsletters and improved customer communication protocols. She remains warmly proud of her “Tools, Tips and Tricks” newsletter at Hummingbird Communications in the early nineties. Familiar with how needs and functions change over time, Wendy’s work has included change management roles for IT projects, infrastructure projects to centralize and decentralize operations, and reviewing new and outdated critical functions after major government services reorganization.
