Langley-Willowbrook
Petrina was born in Wells, British Columbia, and spent her early years living in various communities across Canada. Settling in South Langley on a 5-acre hobby farm with her family, she developed a deep appreciation for rural life before eventually moving to Vancouver.
Petrina’s dedication to public service and community engagement is evident through her tenure on Langley Township Council. First elected in 2014 and re-elected in 2018, she served until November 2022. During her time on Council, she actively participated in various task forces and committees, including the City of Langley’s Homelessness Task Force and the Langley Supportive Housing Community project (BC Housing/Stepping Stone). Additionally, she served on the Canadian Pacific Community Advisory Panel, Fraser Health Municipal Regional Panel, and the Township of Langley’s Tree Protection Advisory Committee.
Petrina is focused on enhancing environmental protection, increasing access to affordable housing, supporting seniors to comfortably age in place, expanding transportation options to meet the needs of our growing population, and bolstering infrastructure with additional schools and hospitals.
Electing Petrina means choosing a future where every resident’s needs are met, and every voice is heard. Let’s support a candidate who has the experience, vision, and passion to make meaningful changes.
