Pat is a visionary leader with a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, having graduated from UBC in 1985. With a successful engineering consulting firm that has been serving heavy equipment manufacturers in the Lower Mainland since 1995, Pat brings decades of practical experience and problem-solving skills to the table.
About ten years ago, Pat delved into climate change research and was deeply alarmed by the potential impacts on future generations if immediate action isn’t taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This concern led him to join the BC Green Party in 2019, recognizing it as the only provincial party committed to addressing the climate crisis with urgency and promoting comprehensive policies for environmental, economic, social, and fiscal sustainability.
Pat’s dedication extends beyond party lines; he actively volunteers with local NGOs focused on combating climate change, further demonstrating his commitment to the cause. As a strong advocate for the BC Green Party’s evidence-based and progressive policy development, Pat champions the party’s innovative solutions on healthcare reform, affordable housing, and the toxic drug crisis.
Pat’s blend of engineering expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and unwavering commitment to climate action makes him an exceptional candidate. Electing Pat means choosing a leader who is not only knowledgeable and experienced but also deeply invested in creating a sustainable and prosperous future for all British Columbians.
