West Vancouver-Sea to Sky
Jeremy Valeriote came within 60 votes (out of 25,000) of winning West Vancouver-Sea to Sky in the last provincial election.
With your support we can get Jeremy over the line this time.
Let’s make history and elect the first Green MLA on the BC mainland.
I’m running again because government isn’t working for most people. It’s time to shake things up, put people first, and send more Greens to Victoria.
We need affordable housing, regional transit, reliable healthcare and jobs in the new Green economy.
I’m opposing Woodfibre LNG because the evidence is clear, whatever the big corporate interests and their politician friends say. It’s a bad idea for Howe Sound, for our climate, and for our kids.
I strongly believe that I owe it to my 10 year-old twin daughters to do everything in my power to tackle climate change, so that they will inherit a better future.
Please support me and vote Green on October 19.
Support for Jeremy
Jeremy originally ran for elected office because he believed that more scientists and engineers were needed in politics, to respond to the existential threat of climate change, and to promote innovation and entrepreneurship for the transition to a green economy. West Van – Sea to Sky is ready to choose a different kind of representation, and I am confident that Jeremy has the public interest at heart, and will tirelessly fight for, and faithfully represent, the residents of this beautiful natural environment as their MLA.
Jeremy is an experienced local leader who can bring positive change to our region.
He is focused on solutions:
- to protect our natural bounty of forests, rivers and ocean,
- to invest in green jobs and businesses, and
- to support renewable energy projects; not polluting industries like LNG
We are voting Green because they will stay true to the values that we hold dear. We need Jeremy and others like him in the legislature to inspire better actions, like more investments in transit. Sonia Furstenau, is a deeply experienced and thoughtful BC Green Party Leader and Jeremy will be a strong addition to her team.
Beyond being an excellent candidate, a BC Green Party candidate, and worthy of support for that reason, he also has the best chance to defeat the BC Conservatives in our riding, West Vancouver-Sea to Sky.

It is my honour to endorse Jeremy Valeriote as the next MLA for West Vancouver-Sea to Sky. He will fight for the communities in this spectacular part of BC, forged in his long experience as an environmental engineer and as a deeply committed father. As Greens we work for our children, their babies yet to come, and all of those precious children threatened by the climate crisis. I know Jeremy will fight for health care, ending poverty and expanding fairness as part of a Green Team holding the balance of responsibility. Only a Green MLA works for one boss- voters in their district. No top-down silly party politics. Jeremy’s feet are planted firmly on the ground. Once elected, he will get to work, for you!
Jeremy is the kind of strong and visionary leader we need to rally behind, shaping a future where zero emissions and economic opportunity go hand in hand, leaving no one behind. He holds truth to power and isn’t afraid to call out hypocrisy. My family and I trust Jeremy to lead with integrity and ensure a just, sustainable future.
I have believed for some time that Jeremy would be a great MLA for the Sea to Sky. As a forward-thinking family guy, he represents the values that so many of us here feel are important
Amongst the hundreds of B.C. MLAs and candidates I’ve worked with over the past 40 years, Jeremy is one of the most honest, hard-working and intelligent. He has all the skills, education, experience and integrity he needs to be a superb representative of the residents of every part of West Vancouver – Sea to Sky, and to make a great contribution to the province as a whole.
In 2020 Jeremy narrowly missed being elected. That loss did not deter him. Instead, he dug in and did the work. In the years since he has demonstrated his dedication to accountability and his commitment to the communities of West Vancouver-Sea to Sky and British Columbia by advocating for greener solutions and supporting the kind of long term, sustainable decision-making this province needs now. Realizing these goals begins with our votes to ensure that after October 19th Jeremy is our MLA, bringing to Victoria the kind of constructive conversations and critical insight that I, and many other British Columbians, believe in.
Jeremy is an awesome guy who has shown accountability and dedication to the sort of long-term decision making the folks in the Sea to Sky deserve, with a focus on creating a sustainable economy through healthy and vibrant ecosystems. I would love to see him be able to bring issues up in Victoria through constructive conversation and critical insight in order to create a better future for all of us who share this magical world together.
I support Jeremy because he understands that in a time of potential ecosystem and biodiversity collapse, advocating for environmental health and resilience must be our priority. The problematic relationship between our provincial Government and the Fossil Fuel industry has resulted in the funnelling of our tax dollars into corporate welfare for one of the most lucrative industries in history, in a time of a cost-of-living crisis for the residents of this province. Jeremy understands the importance of listening to community members, professionals and scientists to hold the provincial and federal governments to account on their relative inaction on environmental crises and affordability. We need elected officials, like Jeremy, who will work with municipalities, First Nations and community members to create a trusting and transparent relationship with governance and provide long-term solutions that put the quality of life of our communities first by prioritizing housing and healthcare accessibility, transitioning from a resource-based economy, gender equity, reconciliation and prioritization of regional transit.
A leader like Jeremy is just what we need for the Sea to Sky region. Someone who recognises that the only rational way forward is to place sustainability, local welfare, and the environment at the forefront of political action.
I am so excited to vote for Jeremy and the BC Green Party. More than ever, we need strong voices for our communities and our environment in the legislature. I know Jeremy will work hard to ensure regional transit, climate change and housing are priorities for this next government
As a former Green candidate – at federal, provincial and municipal levels – I am excited to support someone who is pragmatic yet principled, and determined to win. After coming so close in 2020, and with support for BC Greens growing across West Van-Sea to Sky, I am confident that Jeremy will get over the line this time.
