Camille Currie is a dedicated advocate and small business owner living in the Westshore. When her family lost their doctor in January 2022, she founded B.C. Health Care Matters to address the family doctor crisis affecting thousands in British Columbia. For the past three years, she has been on the front lines of efforts to improve the healthcare system, earning provincial recognition for her impactful initiatives.
Camille believes communities are key to transforming lives in British Columbia. She refuses to accept the current state as the new normal, knowing the province has the potential for much better. Known for her “Let’s get it done!” approach, Camille excels in creating environments where individuals feel listened to and appreciated. She effectively engages with social media, news outlets, and activists, organizing rallies and public meetings to address healthcare issues.
In addition to her advocacy, Camille is an entrepreneur who owns Actualize Personal Training and runs a family business providing marine repair services on Vancouver Island. She holds a degree in political science and economics from the University of Alberta and has extensive experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
If elected, Camille is committed to advancing her leadership in healthcare, community engagement, and public policy, working tirelessly to bring about positive change for all British Columbians.
