VANCOUVER, BC — In the CKNW leader’s debate, Sonia Furstenau decisively outlined a bold, actionable vision for British Columbia, while exposing the shortcomings of John Rustad and David Eby in failing to provide the promised services and trustworthy governance.
“Sonia Furstenau showed today that only the BC Greens can deliver the change that our province needs to move forward,” said Adam Olsen, campaign Co-Chair.
“While the other parties are locked in a tailspin to convince voters who is worse, Sonia was the only leader who showed a clear vision for making life better for people.
“Sonia made the clear case that both the BC NDP and BC Conservatives would take us backwards to an unsustainable, inflated economy based on fossil fuels, while the Greens have a plan for building a clean knowledge-based economy. She called them both out privatizing healthcare at the expense of delivering good care for British Columbians, while the BC Greens would deliver preventive and primary health care in every riding across the province.
“David Eby and John Rustad have both had a kick at the can in majority governments. We can’t keep voting for the same old leaders and expect different results. Sonia Furstenau showed today that only the BC Greens can deliver the change that our province needs to move forward.”
